things coming out of tgs 2024....

new PROFESSOR LAYTON next year! yay! yay!!! it looks gorgeous but I do so miss the 2d. the 3d doesn't look bad obviously but Oof, one of my favorite things about layton is the 2d, anime cutscenes & stuff. I'm still gonna play the damn thing but now I'm a little worried if they're remastering the originals, are they going to "remaster" the 2d into 3d??? bc I'll cry
(level-5 please for the love of god rerelease the 6 LAYTON games you've left behind on switch. do not leave them to die like dogs in the dust of the unplayable yesteryear. PLEASE.)

I can be the guy who both watches soccer anime & plays soccer anime video games but do I have the brainspace? do I have the goddamn chutzpah right now? idk what's going on with the Alice character they had at the end of the presentation but it did have me going 👀👀👀
the new YO-KAI WATCH project looks cute, not enough to get me in there but cute enough. reminds me of GHOSTWIRE: TOKYO with the camera & spirits being everywhere & shots on the empty crosswalks and such.

mildly interested in the new game from the studio who did ZERO ESCAPE but not enough that I can apparently remember anything about it lmao. I'm sure I'll catch up with it eventually, I do love grid-based combat sometimes.
